My stay at The Lansdowne was quite enjoyable, featuring a spacious standard double room with a lovely sea view. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a restful environment after work commitments. The breakfast was excellent, offering a diverse selection including freshly baked pastries and various hot dishes. Staff were attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process and providing excellent service throughout my stay.
Limited amenities in the room such as no fridge or bottled water.

The beautifully decorated room offered a lovely color scheme and the ability to open the window for fresh air was a great touch. Breakfast was plentiful, featuring both continental and cooked options, which added to our enjoyment. the shower water flow was suboptimal and could use some attention. Location-wise, being just across from the beach was excellent, but I wished for a twin-bedded room with a sea view that seemed rare in this hotel.

Couple seeking a memorable stay
Had a cozy double room with a nice sea view, which was a delight every morning 🌅. The dining area felt really inviting, beautifully laid out with period features – made me feel like I was in another time, but without the dust and clutter. Food was actually good. they had excellent breakfast options that made everything worthwhile.
It wasn't exactly dirt cheap, but you get what you pay for I guess.
